New Season(s)… New Moon(s)…

It’s summer once more… a new season… and of course, new moons… Last year my family and I spent much of our time planting and cultivating gardens… It gave us each a chance to spend lots of time outdoors in nature, enjoying her presence… Being in the natural world is such a special experience… Perhaps, it’s why so many of us love the summer season… While the cooler seasons like fall and winter entice us to stay indoors more… the spring and summer seasons lure us back out into the beauty of brighter colors… vivid double rainbow arches… greener and more plush landscapes and warmer sparkling and pristine waters… Albeit, I feel quite alive within the cooler months of the year, I become a bit more motivated on warmer days to partake in outside activities, such as earthing in the sea…

So far my summer is starting out amazingly and productively… Family road trips have gotten us out onto the road, exploring scenic byways and open spaces while also getting us onto the shores of beaches… While at the beach, I am inspired to massage my soles in the sands and soak my feet in pools of natural spring and salt waters… The beach is indeed one of my happy places… It’s an oasis for me… that offers my body, heart and soul a reprieve… a retreat… It seems last summer the touch of earth within my hands each time I worked in one of our gardens is what offered me the most revitalizing calmness… The soft feel of the soils… the delicateness of the seeds and seedlings… and the movement of the land as I made way for new life encouraged greater life within me…

In this new year… new season… and under the new moon(s) of this summer… my hands are still making use of the natural world in various and meaningful ways, while I am too enjoying the movement being made by my legs and feet… I haven’t yet planted new seed for my gardens, it’s not too late to do so, but I am planting new ideas… new goals.. and new dreams… as I find comfort in rest while burying my feet under the warm, sometimes cool, grains of sands and immerse my feet in the gentle waters of lakes and oceans… Rest offers me breathing space… a space where my own breath is able to give further life to what I wish for… pray for… and intend for my life… and the life I am part of overall… Rest while rooted in my own being is when and where I feel my dreams as tangible endeavors… before fully being realized…

My dreams as tangible endeavors… I have quite a palette of colorful ideas, visions and dreams for this summer… When I planted seeds and seedlings last summer, this joy created for me opportunities to plant bigger seeds that would grow a larger harvest on my own land(s)… Land(s) with my own castle(s)… Have you read this blog post yet, “Being A Good Steward of Our Lands, Lands With Our Own Castles,” published on February 28, 2021… As I move between spaces and places near and far, being captivated by the organic world and its landscapes, it allows me to paint pictures in my own mind… how do I want my own land(s) to appear… What designs… developments… structures… resting places… gardens, etc… will I have… What will be my purpose(s) for these lands… How special it will be to capture in view, while on my own land(s), the compositions of the sun in the mornings and at dusk… and the phases and scenery of the moon and stars during the waning and night hours… What extraordinary dreams will I dream in each new season… with every new sun greeting us in the born again moments… and every new moon meant to captivate our minds and spark within us new life…

It is still the early part of the summer season… I’ve been planting my feet in sands on beaches, in waters of lakes and oceans and on my own land(s)… I am excited about the fruits that will come… The gifts and blessings that will bare themselves… Some I am expecting to see… others I know will be surprises, simply because life is so full of glorious phenomenons… Such magic makes my spirit come further alive and causes me to want to move my body into a joyful dance… I have found a dance in the summer rains is truly life giving… I look forward to more… I too look forward to the myriad dances that will come by way of my own dreams and the dreams of others… that will be inspired by the language of each new sun… and each new moon and its familial stars… Dances that will move my feet and plant them too… Dances that will inspire my hands to praise life in all directions… Dances that will bring my body to rest and serenity and will lift my body into soulful rhythmic and harmonious motion… I am grateful for the new season(s)… for the new moon(s)… and for new life… I am grateful… BIG SMILE…
