The Country Club… an idea that for me aligns with the thought to enjoy one’s life or simply to enjoy life. The idea to enjoy life surpasses any specific time in history and is not a thought with one particular people. Therefore, the ways in which we enjoy our lives can be quite similar or different. Many of us find enjoyment alone and/or with others, within formal and/or informal settings. Perhaps, it is why children have found so much of their joy on playgrounds, where enjoyment is truly a treasured experience with many offerings.

A playground, a place to play. As children playgrounds were places where we could invent our own toys, on concrete plains, in the sand or rocks, underneath or up trees, in lakes and ponds, on snow covered or dirt hills or in green grasses, in open fields or in dense woodlands… or explore those hand made, such as swings, monkey bars, seesaws, water fountains, swimming pools, pavilions and more. Playgrounds could be found almost anywhere in our neighborhoods, including on front lawns, in backyards, on sidewalks, in streets, in small green squares between houses, buildings or at the end of cul-de-sacs. More importantly, playgrounds were part of our own imaginations, a place to play and experience enjoyment.

The people… Whether children or adults the idea or thought of play is timeless. But maybe the idea of play or enjoyment began in the young mind. Perhaps, the people are those like a child who are imaginative and innocent. People whose play offers time to explore alone or with others. People whose playgrounds offer a picturesque view and/or feel of heaven on earth, whether just at first in their minds, or already a real place, yet simple grounds or beautifully and artfully designed architectural lands and greenscapes. The people… like a child… A real place… like the country, whether in the city or the suburbs.

The Country and the Club… The Country, whether in the city or suburbs… The club, the people, like a child whose imaginative and innocent young minds find play and enjoyment treasurable and timeless… The Country Club… An enjoyable and fulfilling short or extended vacation for one or more, including a gathering with relatives and friends… with recreation and relaxation… An imaginative idea… A thoughtful place… A cherished people… BIG SMILE…

We have the capacity and potential to always be a blessing in our own lives, in the lives of others and in this magical and magnificent world of ours…
