It’s winter here in New England, yet we are on the cusp of spring… The weather is absolutely amazing… It’s a perfect time to have a wedding… depending on what kind of weather you’d prefer for a wedding whether indoors or out… or it’s simply a perfect time to be inside of your own muse… imagining the ultimate wedding scenery, decor… and more… At present, I have some pretty splendid ideas for my own future wedding… the kind of dress I’d like to wear, the color… the flowers I’m interested in… the scenery I’m most inspired by, etc… Perhaps, I’ll do paper flowers… or cloth… maybe I’ll do real… Either way, I love them all… Thinking about such an occasion makes my mind… my heart… my soul smile… Weddings are such awe-inspiring… glorious affairs… and having loved ones with you to share in this special day is deeply fulfilling…

I’ve not spent as much time as I probably should browsing through wedding magazines, although I truly enjoy doing so when I pick up one… Nevertheless, I take a peek at the wedding posts and pins that show up on my feed while visiting my social media pages… The spectrum of wedding dress styles are endless… and the colors that brides and grooms are choosing are far beyond the traditional whites and off whites we’ve become so familiar with… Black dresses have even become a color choice for some brides… In the world of weddings, black dresses happen to show themselves as elegant… sophisticated… chic… and for the naturalist quite bohemian… Whatever the color choice… what I know will show up more so… while a bride and her groom stand before one another at their alter… is the glow that beams from their insides…

What’s enticing me to write about weddings… I am writing about weddings… because not only am I interested in planning my own… I’m interested in helping you with yours… I’ve always been a really good planner… whether planning vacations… weekend getaways… birthday events… tea parties and other affairs… It’s fun thinking about and playing with the details of get-togethers, social private and public gatherings, above all with family and close friends… It’s also very exciting when spontaneity is actively alive throughout… I find the more flexible I am in the planning stages… the more perfectly plans come together… especially when you keep an open mind… and open heart…

In what specific ways do I want to help you… My honest answer, I’m not as interested in being a wedding planner as I am in wedding design and decor… My original wedding concepts I am sure will intrigue both brides and grooms… I would love to work with brides, primarily, however, in designing their wedding dresses… and choosing the fabrics they’ll adore seeing on themselves… and the fabrics they will love as part of their interior and exterior art and designs… Of course, the fabrics chosen for dresses and the interior and exterior art and designs will be from the DANA RONDEL Signature Collection OFF WHITE & GREY Label… I am so enthusiastic about bringing into fruition the wedding concepts I already have in mind for this collection… and I look forward to the fresh concepts to come… yours and mine…

Weddings are a fortunate endeavor for those of us who get to be part of such an affair… and truly a glorious adventure for a couple in love… It is a priceless gift to witness the optimism of life… the optimism of love… the reverence of life… the reverence of love… the organic beauty of life… the organic beauty of love… shared within the circle of two minds… two hearts… two souls… committed to a journey that is meant to be long lived… I am ready for this journey… whether this journey begins with my own wedding or someone else’s… I may not be the wedding planner, but I’ll make sure whatever role I am in the Who… When… Where… and What… are indeed, a Wow… BIG SMILE… 🙂
