Intrigued by a magazine article and its title, I ended up writing down the first three words of the title, “The Art of…,” as a preface for my own ideas… I’ve heard and have read, “There is an art to everything in life.” So, I added to my three written words and penned, The Art of Art.  Since then, I have been searching my mind about these four conjoining words… Delving deeper into them to discover a greater meaning… What will they say to me… What do they want me to say… It has been at least two weeks of mind(ful) exercise… Fresh and re-cycled thoughts have surfaced… New imaginings have come forth… Original and suggested photographic concepts have provided further illumination to brighten my ideas… The creative play taking place inside my mind has moved me around… over… under… into… beyond… various spaces and places of time(lessness)…

The Art of Art. I think I am finally ready to produce a meaningful collage of expression for these words… I am contemplating what, which, how… to share… I pause and stare at the words… The Art of Art.  I am simply giving myself the opportunity for quietude…  More ideas come… They’re not all my own…  But I welcome them all… I have extra thoughts to ponder now regarding, The Art of Art.  I’ve chosen to focus a good portion of my attention on only the last word, … Art. I hear, “It’s God.”  I too hear, “It’s emptiness.” My own idea was, It’s the natural world. Then I changed my perspective, It’s a blank canvass. The uttering goes on… “It is this…” It is… I can say, ‘Yes!’ to all… However, I feel that something else wants to come… Silence pursues… Short pauses… Sometimes long pauses… … … continue between words… sentences… ellipsis’s… I re-read and repeat the words, ‘The Art of Art,’ although I want to mostly reference the last word, … Art. I quiet my mind once again… I let it drift… It starts to think on other things… It thinks less on, … Art.  I think it wants to think further… nonetheless… It’s actually me that wants it to think…  Intuitivism captures my attention and lures me to my heart… by tickling my senses more… I smile… I am moved to feel(ing), … Art.  I have no other words…

 

We have the capacity and potential to always be a blessing in our own lives, in the lives of others and in this magical and magnificent world of ours…
