An epicurean… I consider myself such simply because I sincerely enjoy a gastronomic experience replete with organic picks from the garden to a scrumptious to the crowning bite table. This afternoon as I was taking a walk outdoors I was delighted by the vegetation around me. Many of the plants were growing wild and were edible. I picked some of what was ripe and ready for either a yummy dish or beverage. The bright appearances and aromatic smell of the plants and herbs created the beginnings of what would become culinary luxury.

Over the years I’ve had the occasion of picking a variety of edible plants from my own gardens. Some of these plants became meals I’ve enjoyed with family and friends. I’ve also shared them with many of you who view and read my writings and posts. The photographs of these dishes are quite appetizing and have become part of the Natural Food Art Cafe’s Fine Art Dining Gallery, or Fine Art (Epicurean) Dining Gallery. I’ve also included recipes I hope you’ve appreciated and enjoyed. There are some dishes and images, however, I’ve saved for later.

Albeit, I greatly enjoy a home cooked or dine out simple or humble meal, I am too moved by the art and creative presentation of delectable haute or gourmet cuisine. The experience of decorating or styling flavorful, decadent foods and/or liquids on or in a dish genuinely brings me joy. This cultivated experience as well as the experiential learning and study of gastronomy and/or whole, plant based food has influenced me to further explore and experiment with different and new plant derived ingredients. Many of these foods I have had the pleasure of including within my collection of high cuisine.

Dining In Style… at home or away… indoors or out… The Natural Food Art Cafe has led me to try various foods I’ve previously enjoyed using alternative ingredients. For instance, though I am plant based I still enjoy a yummy, savory and/or sweet whole food lobster pâté, dressed egg, steak tar tar or strips, caviar, anchovy, seared fish, artisanal cheeses, chocolate and more, styled perfectly… Let us journey… and take a look… BIG SMILE…

We have the capacity and potential to always be a blessing in our own lives, in the lives of others and in this magical and magnificent world of ours…
