There’s no Television in my home… I haven’t had one in my home in quite some time… Mostly because, I love a living space having within it only what is most useful to me… Although, I do enjoy some of the programs offered by various networks, and will make the opportunity to see those programs when I am in the company of a TV, I find without a TV, I am more focused on my own dreams and goals and indeed much more productive… There’s value in both having a TV and not having a TV… The value in having a TV is, at times, I use it to further inspire my own creativity… Without a TV in my home, I focus more on the innovative and creative ideas coming from within myself… and tend to utilize Nature, the natural world, more as inspiration…

This write-up is not about a TV… It’s about ways I am inspired to create… what sparks my creativity and how I keep myself focused and productive… I love creating… I love using my mind… my heart… and my hands… and the rest of my body, if I need to… to make works of art… tangible pieces… objects… materials, etc… that are useful and valuable… When I am creating… it’s a very organic endeavor… it’s a magical experience… I become a part of a whole new world… Albeit, I do generally have ideas about what I want to create, I deeply enjoy in the moment creativity… I love being surprised by my end results, especially when my creations are like no others… and are far different than what I might have expected… Overall, my life is a mostly organic one… a life full of opportunities to be my own individual and uniquely different self… A life I sincerely appreciate and love…

I’ve been a Creative since my early childhood years… I was born into a family of artists and educators who greatly influenced my life… My careers, however, have not always been within the fields of art and education… Nonetheless, I have consistently incorporated my creative knowledge and artistic skills within almost all of my professional endeavors… I have done so to ensure my careers remain as fresh and interesting as possible… and by being both innovative and creative my work stands out… I enjoy learning from others, yet I enjoy too finding distinct ways to do what I’ve learned… different ways of applying knowledge I’ve gained… I am sure this is another reason why I am also able to keep my career fun…

I’ve been growing my organizations for several years now… I’ve had some expected and unexpected results along the way… There were moments when I felt sure about my choices and other times when I didn’t… There were times when I felt I could succeed at what I am doing… and times when I didn’t… but I never felt I would ever fail… My mind and heart would not allow me to accept my experiences as failures, but to accept them as insight into what could be… if I simply opened myself to further innovative and creative ideas… I’ve never giving up on myself… and I’ve never giving up on an endeavor I truly felt good about… I felt sure and strong about… but I have tweaked ideas… dreamed better and/or bigger dreams… and changed my plans to align with newer and/or healthier visions and endeavors… Isn’t this what creativity is about… coming up with an idea… or concept… having a vision… or dream… and working with it until it becomes the work of art we can honestly be proud of… Sometimes we have to give more to the idea… concept… vision… dream… to make it what we really want… Sometimes we have to take away from it… Sometimes the change is small… Sometimes it’s big… Sometimes the end result… outcome… work of art… is exactly what we envisioned… or only partly what we envisioned… or nothing at all like what we initially envisioned, yet is a work of art that is absolutely beautiful… awe-inspiring… an endeavor that one genuinely loves …

A constructive way of life… this is the road I travel… A path of optimism leading me further and further toward the potential and beauty of my own ideas… concepts… visions… dreams… I love living a creative life, but more importantly, I love living an interesting life… a fun life… a fulfilling life…. assuredly constructive in nature…

We have the capacity and potential to always be a blessing in our own lives, in the lives of others and in this magical and magnificent world of ours…
