Animal Prints… The World of Animals… In My World…

Nothing But The Love In Me…

WORLDFUL ART… Do I love animal prints… I do… The ones I see on the trails of nature or elsewhere as I am outdoors… the ones made by artists I see in creative works… the ones beautifully woven, painted or printed into fabric… Truthfully, I am mostly referring to animal print patterns found in/on fabric… These natural appearing patterns are quite artful and eccentric… quite avant garde and chic to me… Why is this… Perhaps, it is because they are the organic designs of the Living World… A work of Natural Life… Nevertheless, the animal paws or foot prints I spot while in nature and those beautifully inked, penciled or painted on one medium or another… also are able to elicit a smile from me… The other animal prints I have grown fond of are actual fish, bird, cat, dog, giraffe, etc. images printed onto clothing, including the pairs of socks I now own… These fun articles of clothing, statement pieces and accessories get an even BIGGER SMILE from me… because they are so fun to wear…

THE MAGIC OF FUN… I’ve recently begun to collect and make clothing with images of animals printed on them… Partly my own idea to do so, and partly others’… The idea started due to discussions with friends about the true nature of animals… Can and do animals really get along with one another… fish and birds… birds and cats… cats and dogs… Can there be a natural, friendly relationship between animals of the wild and other animals… and human beings… What are the primal instincts of animals… Are their natural instincts based on survival… What are natural survival tendencies… for any of us… animals and human beings… The answers I’ve heard have differed… Nevertheless, consciousness, indeed influenced each response…

THE POWER OF HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS… Rather than write here each response shared with me… I will instead tell a couple short stories… At a young age… I learned animals are much like human beings… like us, they too have senses… they too feel and respond to sensory stimuli… they too become what they are taught to be… I have an aunt who raised several animals in her home simultaneously… She raised and kept birds, cats and dogs within the same home at the same time… Some animals she cared for beginning while already mature and others she raised since their new born or infancy periods… Either way, she truly loved animals and cared for them well… and she always influenced a friendly bond between her pets… It was wonderful for me to spend as much time as I did growing up in my aunt’s home… She was one of the individuals in my life who taught me the importance of… soft naturedness… My aunt’s soft nature toward her self, toward her children and toward her animals was mirrored in relationships she fostered with other human beings… She fostered the same between animals and between animals and human beings… I learned from her… it is important to be good to ourselves… I as well learned that just as human beings can sense another’s feelings toward them… animals are able to do the same… What makes it easy for Animal Whisperers to create a friendly and safe relationship with an unfamiliar animal in the wild… an animal not previously known… Animal Whisperers, which my aunt unintentionally, yet consciously was, show they have no fear of the animal they are able to communicate with, whether silently or audibly… They show they trust their new friend(s)… and Animal Whisperers resonate from their own beings kindness and organic love… They are aware that the vibrational energy that comes from our own beings is a form of communication… a form of communication that is instinctively known by the senses…

THE WAY OF WISDOM… I spent part of my summer a few or more years ago in Florida with friends… One friend I grew up with in the same neighborhood in Connecticut… While I was with him, he was preparing for a new pet… a puppy he was excited about even before receiving him… It is adorable to see how pets can light up both our inner and outer worlds… Animals seem to have their own glorious magic… When my friend finally had his puppy in tow… a short time after I left, they became great play mates… He shared some of their fun moments on social media… I was grateful for his joy… After my visit with my childhood friend, I traveled to another city in Florida and stayed with a Muslim family who became great friends too… I stayed with only the father a few years prior… From my second friend, the father, who became a mentor while I was with him, I learned new customs I still practice today and have grown to cherish… and I got to witness his and his children’s awe-inspiring relationships with animals in the wild… their frequent neighborhood visitors… birds and squirrels… My friend and his children enjoyed feeding their bird and squirrel friends peanuts… Usually while enjoying peanuts themselves, they would leave their kitchen door wide open to invite in the fresh air… and so their friends in the wild could pickup from their kitchen counter or floor the peanuts left for them… I was happy to not only see for myself the wonderful relationships developed between human beings and animals who still lived in the wild, but I was happy to as well capture with my own camera our animal friends as they had come into the kitchen to claim their peanuts… One friend being a beautiful blue jay… My second friends, father and children, taught me… trust is the key…

TRUST IS THE KEY… My third stop in Florida was at a home of a high school friend who had his daughter with him for the summer… It was fun to hangout with my friend who I hadn’t seen in several years, to spend time with his daughter and with his hospitable room-mates… There was quite a lot I learned from each of these individuals, yet the greatest learning for me came from my friend’s young daughter… She had a fascination for Feral children… children raised in the wild by animals… She loved talking to me about what she knew of Feral children… What I believe was the most important part of these children’s stories… was that they ended up in forests, jungles and woods… without any human contact… and became part of a family that consisted of just animals… The children I was able to see myself, within the TV series/short documentaries while at my third home… were very healthy children, but with their relational habits being more similar to animals rather than human beings… for instance, they communicated, in body language and verbally, much like the animals they were raised by… It was inferred within the documentaries… that the animals who raised, who we know as Feral children… didn’t harm these children when they were found by them… but took to them, befriended them and cared for them… I am sure it was because the animal(s) could sense the children’s innocence… The animals knew the child they had come upon would not hurt/harm them… Animals instinctively know when they are in safe company… The story of the Feral children bring me to this thought… Regardless of our level of maturity… BE LIKE A CHILD…

BE LIKE A CHILD… I personally took to this Wisdom many years ago… after I decided not being an adult (figuratively) is okay… I befriended this Wisdom… and let it raise me to become maturer in foresight… in discernment… and let it teach me to remain innocent like children… I carry this wisdom with me… and live it in my daily life… It’s why I not only love others in the way… I do… I too greatly love our friends in the animal kingdom… and see them as only friends to human beings and to other animals… To show my appreciation to my amazing animal friends… fish… birds… cats… dogs… and all other animals… and to the known and unknown natural creatures of nature… I have chosen to acknowledge… honor… and celebrate them and their lives by way of clothing… and accessories… that will continue to be part of my own sustainable and timeless collection… I love HAVING FUN… including with fashion… Animal Prints… of varied designs, patterns, images and compositions are indeed so much FUN to have… and to wear… I have also enjoyed having real animals as pets… They are truly their own one of a kind being… They are LOVE… just as we HUMAN BEINGS are LOVE… Being innocent like a child… Let us always be who we really… truly are… UNEQUIVOCAL LOVE… able to foster the same in others and in our miraculous world… REALLY BIG SMILE…

BY THE WAY… I have heard the term… Animal Nature… as such relates to humans numerous times… My own familiarity with this term is defined as follows…

The natural inclination of human beings to live intuitively and to play always with innocence
