Life is so extraordinary… The world is abundant with countless treasures… and beautiful dreams really do come true… I was fortunate to be a child who was often encouraged to explore the natural world… Growing up I spent much of my youth learning the outdoors… Cement and asphalt surfaces were just as revered as grassy, sand and dirt surfaces… Each surface welcomed different experiences… yet, each experience influenced learning and growth through the simple acts of play… I had just as much fun playing kickball, jump rope and hop scotch, riding my bike, skate boarding and roller skating on the concrete and asphalt as I had imprinting my hands and sculpting and molding castles in the sand… and as I had sledding down snowy hills, running across the grassy fields with my kite and trailing up and down dirt mounds and making mud pies with the wet earth… I can’t forget how much fun I had too dancing underneath the cold water sprinklers, swimming in our local pools, ponds, lakes and oceans and ice skating on the frozen waters during the winter season… Play for children is simply innocent activity… but in truth… play is sacred ritual causing life to give more life to itself inside and outside of us all…

I’m an adult now, nevertheless, I still remain in awe of nature and our world at large… I love coming into sight of the magnificent and immaculate creations of Spiritual Presence and Mother Earth as well as witnessing with my own eyes the phenomenal artistic makings of human beings… which I am sure were first inspired by living sceneries… whether consciously or unconsciously… I believe we, people, actually learned our first designs… shapes… colors… smells and textures from organic earth spaces and landscapes… Plainly observing Nature could give our own minds and imaginations ideas… concepts… visions and dreams that could further connect us to greater insights and to a greater sense of being… A greater sense of being not just with and within primitive environments, but with ourselves… with others and with life inclusively…

I feel alive… My being immeasurably and holistically expresses this while outdoors… I too feel completely enlivened after exercise and after time of respite and sleep… Motion and stillness are very much part of our lives… Both motion and stillness are primitive to our beings… natural ways of life and living… This is why I am so drawn to places where I can experience peaceful rest, places that encourage physical activity and adventure and places that are primal… organic… and mostly, if not completely, untouched… The energy of such spaces and places invariably welcomes in me a euphoric as well as tranquil state of presence… Perhaps, this is why I usually take a deep breath, literally and figuratively, when I am in some way in touch with the wilderness… when I come into the view of picturesque mountains or quaint landscapes… when I am near falling or still waters… when I walk through native forests and agrarian or hand touched floral gardens… and when I get to pick whole foods from local orchards and raw plant life from the soils of my own territories and town farms…

My heaven on earth… is a world within myself and without… causing me to open my eyes in awe of what surrounds me… a fresh space and place that compels me to breathe in the organic universe and too it is a land with my own castle(s)… Castles untouched and touched by the human hand… A mountain I can sit upon to take in an alluring summit… a stalwart tree I can find respite and additional softness under… waters I can immerse myself in to be further uplifted… an earthly build made to be my sanctuary and my home… My heaven on earth is where my soul joyfully dances… and where it experiences serenity… calm and well-being… My heaven on earth is where I am… wherever I am… and it too is the pristine earth of my own glorious dreams… A healthy and clean earth conserved for primal life to be free… for primitive life to flourish… for organic life to teach us the splendid expressions of abundantly being… abundantly living… an earth sustained for children to innocently and curiously play… for adults to intentionally and spontaneously frolic… an earth to construct our green temples on… an earth to preserve for timeless treasures to show themselves to us over and over and over again… I love living as a good steward of our lands… and I love having lands with my own castle(s)… Lands untouched and touched by the human hands… yet always in the care of Divine Presence… and in the care of Nature…

I am grateful for this existence… for this world… for this earth… for the boundless beauty always present… for the immense gifts bestowed upon us all… with nothing required in return, but for humanity to honor and cherish life… our own… and others… including the creatures and natural resources of our lands… We are here not just for ourselves… We are here not just for those who are here now… We are here for those who will come… who will receive… who will be… who will learn… who will grow… who will play… who will teach… who will live… who will live… and who will give too… honorably… BIG SMILE…
