The beautiful colors of the new season gracefully invited themselves into our lives in August. I welcomed the colorful Autumn foliage and the pleasant changes of the earth, nonetheless, I hadn’t finished enjoying the natural world of Summer. To capture more of summer’s glorious charm, I adventured out on a perfectly warm summer day to enjoy time with my camera. I’d captured many photographs of various scenic landscapes and natural treasures found in Nature during summer, however, I hadn’t included within them my own physical presence.

The blend of colors found together in Nature as summer begins to depart and Autumn begins to arrive is truly inspiring. The hues of both seasons along with the decor found on the grounds in nearby towns here in Connecticut moved me to capture what was left of summer’s vigor. Even more creative inspiration came as I thought about my artistic endeavor, Unif(eyed) Colors Campaign, and how it perfectly fit into the forefront of such a florid and rich real life picture.

I have a plethora of photos from the outdoors. Some of them I’ve gotten for Unif(eyed) Colors Campaign. My UC Campaign leads me to look for outdoor places that will compliment the ideas I have for an artistic culture and style shoot, It was indeed luck that led me to pass by a red vintage flower truck while driving through a small town not far from my own. I used both my luck and the red flower truck to capture the motions and grace of summer and the timelessness and simplicity of style.

Subsequent to my luck finding the red flower truck and a completed first shoot, I adventured out on another day to find my way to a place filled with more of summer’s charm and grace. When thinking of summer how could I not want more of the warm sands and shore. I headed east then south to discover in a familiar space the beauty of Nature’s stones and the ocean’s tones. I sat in front of my camera for another shoot and captured once more the silhouettes of summer, the art of culture and the elegance of style.

August was coming to an end. Summer was moving toward its rest. I was happy with the captures I’d gotten. Each place found for Unif(eyed) Colors Campaign were both special and indeed one of a kind. Autumn’s time was near and though I cherish the gifts of summer, I was now ready for the new season. It was August. And yet, the new season would too be An August Time Of The Year. BIG SMILE.

We have the capacity and potential to always be a blessing in our own lives, in the lives of others and in this magical and magnificent world of ours…
